It's exactly 1 year since I started this blog and there are exactly 100 posts !! [ I only juz realised that when Blogger changed the display settings on the dashboard ]
Anyway, I guess this blog grew to become quite a part of my life for the past 1 year, especially when Hester and I were both not in Singapore, she updates her blog and I do mine...
And from my initial reluctance to start a blog, it became the main channel of my thoughts and rumblings, my "style" (If any) and the content for each post also slowly evolved... Nevertheless, it served its purpose well and I guess it's more than what I had asked for - to be a useful channel for me to update my life and hopefully to keep in touch with friends.
Now that it's kinda the end of this phase, with me settling back in Singapore, officially completed my post graduate education (Maybe there'll be more but definitely not in the near future), started working and also started to catch up with friends regularly, there really isn't such a strong reason for me to continue blogging ... [ Unless you people tell me otheriwse ]
I guess this is how it ends ....

Yay !! Finally submitted my Thesis on Strategy Innovation and Business Design. So much time and effort .. But when I met my Professor today, he said "Don't worry, you'll definitely pass" ... PASS !?! ... I dont wanna juz pass .. I definitely wanna do better than that !!
Nevertheless, I'm just Happy that it's finally done.
I guess All Good Things really do come to an end and it's the end of this one year of extremely interesting TIP Journey ...
Another interesting thing is ... I took my final exam last paper exactly on this day last year !

Went to the FashBash at NAFA on Saturday and it was packed !
Hester wanted to go and look-see so we went .. And it kinda reminded me of the Beachwear / Bikini Bazaar my WB team and I organised a few years back .. Haha ! .. It was just as messy and looking at the way they packed so many stalls into that place .. I'm sure they made more money than we did.
Anyway, met Grace there even when she's suppose to be studying for her examz ! .. And Connie was just commenting that how Japanese girls are really crazy about shopping and looking good .. I think it applies for Singaporeans too !

So we just revisited some of the places we went the last time ..
This place is famous for their Baba Laksa and Chendol ..
Strong heritage feel [ Or simply old looking ] but their business is extremely good !

I was watching TV, channel surfing and saw on MTV channel that this song was voted No. 19 for something like the most Outstanding or Memorable song of the '80s !!
I'm not too sure if it was that popular all along but recently it was used for a Toyota Vios advertisement on TV and also on My name is Earl, when Randy started singing to this song and hugging a radio ...
Anyway, I totally like this song !! But kinda still prefer the Eva Cassidy version.

Met up with people from TIP at Chee Yong's New Office for a gathering plus sharing session for those who started / gonna start their business. Pretty nice interior but the outside really looks like some HK residential area, maybe it's just the stairs and the metal gates. Kinda cool though .. Haha !

I was driving [ Not chasing cars ] and listening to this song on my CD ... decided to switch to the radio and conincidentally the same song was playing on FM 95 !
And on my way back home I switched to Perfect 10 [FM 98.7] .. Guess what!? The same song !! ..
I know it's a nice song and all .. But to hear it every time I start driving is juz a little weird !
Anyway, I took this picture outside a Cambodian restaurant in Seattle last September, just about the time I knew about this song.

Juz a picture I took when I met Roy and Justin for coffee recently at Cathay Building.
And I juz found out that its original building was the first air-conditioned cinema in Singapore.
Anyway, we also saw the construction of a flight of stairs towards the Emily Hill... Not too sure if it's a good move for the Arts place ..
Attended another wedding dinner over the weekend at Four Seasons Hotel ...
Nice place and all but I wouldn't say the same for the food !
It was way below my expectations .. [ or maybe I'm juz not hungry ]
Anyway, I've been attending quite a lot of wedding dinners lately and most of them have almost the same sequence ...
They kinda all feel the same ! ... Change the place and food a little, change the couple .. it's Another Wedding !
But I guess it's the most practical way to share the wedding day with hundreds of people, friends & family ...

I'm reusing this picture which I posted last May after I finished my final exams ...
And now that I have completed all the course work & lessons
[ Still need to finish up the dissertation though ] ...
I'm feeling a bit like last year but with mixed feelings ...
There is this emptiness that I really hate ! ...
The thing is, I knew all along that everytime I move on, I will leave something behind that I will miss ..
And this time round I guess I will miss the regular "meet-up" with friends during lessons ...
